I know I have been quite inactive the past month, alot of private stuff going on and upcoming exams, but I will try to be more active again from now on. Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Don Mattrick just announced that Microsoft is back peddling with the XBOne, removing the disastrously awful features we've been bashing them for trying to inflict on us.
    Last week at E3, the excitement, creativity and future of our industry was on display for a global audience.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

Hey! I'm spamming you. Yay XD But its for a good reason! As I have said before, DA glitches a lot for me. Sometimes I can't fave or comment on things, deviations and journals won't show up in my inbox, I can't log in or out randomly, it will post things I say several times, I'll have to post something ten or more times before they will show up (lucky me only on the things that have long descriptions), and many more things. But recently there is a new glitch! It posts my comments on deviations, to the artist's front page. What? Why does it do that! Shirley I'm not the only one this happens to! I'm thinking about reporting all this stuff to HQ but then I do have a messed up computer so I'm not sure if I should or not. Anyway, sorry to everyone it has happened to. I'm working on it XD

Just as a little question, I found some really old cosplay photos of me and :iconmazzthegreat:. Most are taken from phones, or are just derp shots, but seeing as I'm probably not going to cosplay again till Anime Matsuri (Six more weeks!! Can't wait, yet I'm no where near ready!!) I was thinking about uploading them? Maybe upload them and then later scrap them? Tell me what you think!

:/ Hm... come to think of it, now that I remember, a few times when stuff was uploaded and made it to one of the front pages by someone I watch, there were a few times where they didn't show up in my messages. :shrug: And a few weeks ago I did have trouble staying logged in when I first logged in and tried to favorite something... maybe part of the problem is dA.

Pictures sound great to me! :D
