The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Design Contest WIN 4000 POINTS, 20$ AND MORE!I've wanted to hold a design contest for a long time now, and finally I've gathered enough points to do it :D

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long
Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Hello again! I come to spam you with my lame update/mentioning of things and some questions!

Ok, so I just wanted to say my plans for cosplay and conventions.

As of now my Ciel cosplay has been put on a hold because my sewing machine is being mean and hates the fabric. I'm also thinking about making a different version of Ciel instead of the one I was planning to do (At the end of Kuro (not 2) and in the ending theme Lacrimosa) because it seemed to be simpler and I wanted it for San Japan but then never finished it. As for any other cosplay I'm working on (because I have forgotten who all I'm doing) they are put on hold as well because of lack of free time to work on them. I am planning on finishing my Team Satisfaction cosplay though (yeahhh still haven't finished it... and theres not much left to do on it! I'm so lazy XD)!

Now about conventions! I will not be attending any more conventions this year. As for next year, I am going to Anime Matsuri in The Woodlands outside of Houston. There is also a small chance of me going to Anime Fest again but it all depends on how things look next year. Sadly, I don't see how I can go to San Japan next year ;_; Its an amazing con with lots of great memories but I just don't see any way of me going. I met a lot of amazing people at San Japan last year and I know I'll be seeing some of them at Anime Matsuri but I really did want to go back.

And now for questions!

I was wondering what you thought of my journals? I try not to post journals too much because I know that people don't like reading my journal posts, so I was wondering what you thought about how much I posted? Should I not post so much?

What do you want to see more of? Photography, cosplay, stories/fanfiction (I don't have any fanfiction up do I. Hmm), and I guess I'll go ahead and say art but we all know I can't draw XD But if by any chance you do want me to upload some art what would you like? Anime stuff? Or do I draw something else?

I can't get a wig for a wile but when I do should I go ahead and get a new Naruto wig, or should I get a new Jack wig? maybe a new Ciel wig (man I hate the wig I have now! It wants to kill me or something XD)? Or just get a wig for a new cosplay (like Aki?! I do so love Aki!)

What cosplays do you want to see more of, and what cosplays do you want to see less of?


Oh and I just want to say that I do still have that commission open if anyone is interested!

I know how you feel, although I wanna go to a lot of cons next summer, I really don't know if I'll go to any past AM and Comicpalooza. If you and the twin ever wanna hang out with my group(well, some of us) next summer for like a shoot or something though, since we all live so nearby, that would be cool, I think.
I'm excited to see your Ciel cosplay, my group has a BB cosplay planned for the far future, all the outfits are so purty!
